Under New Administration (New Rules Please Read)

Hello I'm in charge of ks now for a month and all that so there are some changes happening in the future. First of which, we have new rules so read up.

Rules:
1. Trolling and flaming are now being handled on a case to case basis. Basically I'm not saying don't troll or flame (after all this is the internet and attempting to really regulate that is stupid) but don't act like you are on mfgg about it. Like I said, it's REALLY vague area so if you feel something has gone out of hand drop me a line and I'll look at it/discuss with mods.
2. Don't post anything that would make Chris Hansen interested in this place.
3. This isn't mfgg, don't act like it is.
4. There are no word filters. (This is not quite a rule but okay).
5. Outside disputes are now allowed but must be restricted to the Real Zone.
6. I have the right to remove and add admins and mods as I deem necessary.
7. Locking topics is important okay
8. The rules are not permanent and I will probably add more rules when I realize I need to add something.

Punishment Guidelines
- Punishments will posted about in The Roundtable with a link to the post that may be in question.
- Punishments can be changed with discussion of the mod team
- Bans will be treated very seriously. For the sake of keeping things tidy before issuing a ban post a topic to discuss it in The Roundtable.

I think this was kind of allowed before anyhow, the only stipulation being that you should show a level of discretion with it. I don't know though so don't ask me, don't think we've had that as a real problem

Most arguments resolve themselves after a time, and if a thread is unpleasant it's easy to simply not enter the thread. I can understand locking if it degenerates into name calling or other types of contentless "discussion", but so long as members aren't doing that I'm fine with it.

I'm pretty guilty of locking threads because I thought they could turn into an argument, especially when I first started as a mod, but all things considered I think that was a mistake.

Yeah, I'm saying some topics that would have resolved themselves were sometimes locked when they would have been fine otherwise, so I guess this rule just clarifies a sometimes problem.
